Metal Details

Details: Metal prints are a popular choice for printing photographs, artwork, and other images because of their incredible quality. Unlike traditional printing methods that use paper or canvas, metal prints are created by infusing dyes directly into a sheet of aluminum. This creates a vibrant and durable print that is resistant to fading, moisture, and fingerprints.

One of the biggest advantages of metal prints is the vividness of the colors. The metallic surface of the print reflects light in a way that enhances the vibrancy of the colors, making them appear more vivid and intense than traditional prints. The result is a print that has a distinctive and eye-catching look that is sure to stand out in any room.

Another factor that contributes to the quality of metal prints is their durability. Unlike paper or canvas, aluminum is a durable and long-lasting material that can withstand the test of time. Metal prints are resistant to fading, moisture, and fingerprints, ensuring that they will look just as stunning years from now as they do today.

Finally, metal prints are easy to clean and maintain. Unlike traditional prints that can be difficult to clean and may require special cleaning products, metal prints can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth. This makes them a low-maintenance option for those who want a stunning print that will last for years to come.

In conclusion, the quality of metal prints is truly incredible. From their vivid colors to their durability and low-maintenance, metal prints are an excellent choice for anyone looking for a high-quality print that will stand the test of time. Whether you're looking to showcase your favorite photos or artwork, a metal print is the perfect choice.

How It's Made: Your image is first printed to a transfer paper, then infused into metal by heat and pressure. This process combined with our custom made color profiles give true to life colors and exceptional detail.

FAQ

What’s the difference between acrylic, metal and canvas prints?

Acrylic prints involve mounting a metallic print onto acrylic, creating a modern and sleek look with the most vibrant colors and depth.

Metal prints involve a dye infusion process where the image is pressed directly into the metal, giving it a unique look with incredible color and detail.

Canvas prints involve printing an image onto canvas fabric, creating a more traditional and textured appearance with a stain finish.

How much bleed should I leave on my images?

None! Just make sure your image is cropped correctly. We will add bleed, and resize your image before printing!

How do I know if my image has enough resolution?

We recommend not going below 120ppi. However, it is all preference. If you don't know if your image has enough resolution, contact us! If you place an order and we think your image doesn't have enough resolution, we'll always reach out before printing.

What type of print file do you prefer?

We will accept any files. Our online uploader will only accept Jpegs. If you'd like to order using .tiff, or .psb, apply for a pro account!

For the highest quality print, we recommend Adobe RGB 1998, 16-Bit, .tiff

Do you offer non-glare metal?

Yes! If you're looking for something with no glare, we recommend our White Matte Metal.

What do I use to clean my Metal print with?

You can use just about any cleaner with a soft micro fiber cloth.
